SOSOS CLUB is a noise unit formed by Murakami Gonzo and Fujiwara Sotaro.

The two, who are as old as father and son, have been active as SOSOS CLUB for several years now, after working as solo artists for each other. They haven't released any music as a unit until now, and have been performing only live, which has gradually led to the emergence of SOSOS addicts in many places. This is their first release as a unit. The songs on this album revolve around the 30-minute song "Matoba," which they have been performing live since the early days of SOSOS CLUB. They do not use a DTM style of composition, but rather an improvisational approach to featuring, and the equipment they use is different for each live performance. Therefore, with each recording and live performance, the songs evolve and show different expressions. This album will also include remixes by Ramza and Baptisma, who have close ties to SOSOS CLUB. The artwork used on the cover was created by visual artist VUG during a public recording session of SOSOS CLUB by improvising on an aluminum plate, and Murakami Gonzo's drawing stickers were applied to it. Both the sound and the artwork have been recorded with a high level of purity of the moment and the dynamism of the live performance. The first pressing comes with an interview paper.

親子ほどの歳の差がある二人は、お互いにソロでの活動を経て、数年前よりSOSOS CLUBとして活動を行う。ユニットでの音源リリースはこれまでしておらず、ライブ活動のみで徐々にSOSOS中毒者が各地で発生。今回の音源は、そんな二人の記念すべき初リリース作品。収録曲は、SOSOS CLUBの活動初期からライブで披露していた、約30分間に及ぶ楽曲「Matoba」を軸に展開していく。彼らはDTM的な作曲手法ではなく、即興的なアプローチからのフィーリンングを大切にし、ライブ毎に二人の使用する機材も異なる。故にレコーディングやライブを重ねるごとに、楽曲は様々な表情を見せ進化していく。今作にはSOSOS CLUBと縁の深い、RamzaとBaptismaによるリミックスも収録される。ジャケットに使用されているアートワークは、SOSOS CLUBの公開レコーディングの際に、ヴィジュアルアーティストのVUGが、即興でアルミ板を加工し作成したものに、Murakami Gonzoのドローイングステッカーが貼られたもの。音源とアートワーク共に、ライブの躍動感、その瞬間の純度を高く保ったまま収められている。初回プレス分、インタビュー紙付き。
